Description
After living in China for 3 years, I?ve been back in London for the last 6 months. However, for one reason or another, I?ve been growing less and less keen on living in London. I?m therefore looking at moving out to Cambridge or Brighton. Having said that, I?m also still considering somewhere like Richmond/more leafy area of London.
I?d need to be reasonably close to the station as I?d be commuting to London 2 or 3 days a week. Preferably walking distance but cycling distance in Cambridge would be fine. The remaining days would be work from home days, but i would tend to go to a cafe/library rather than staying at home all day.
Ideally I?d like to find flatmates that I could get on well with and socialise with both in and out of the flat. I enjoy watching/playing most sports, but nothing beats a Saturday afternoon watching mediocre football. I also enjoy cooking (mostly Chinese-style stuff), reading, going out for food/drinks, and generally exploring the city in my free time. I speak fairly fluent Mandarin so living with a native Chinese speaker would be great, but not a requirement.
Probably a deal-breaker for most people is the fact that I come with a cat. She?s really friendly, clean and generally well-behaved. Obviously I?d take responsibility for her, but it would be cool to live with others who also enjoyed being around her.
I?m open to moving in to an existing flatshare or joining up with others to look for a new place together.
I?m relatively flexible with dates and happy to wait a while to find the right place. I just can?t move in before the first weekend of February.
