Whole Flat Wanted ASAP near Meadows: 2-3 beds req.

My partner Cameron and I are looking for a two- or three-bedroom furnished flat in Edinburgh, to move into by 1st June.

I'm 24 and currently studying for a Master's in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. Before going back to study I spent several years working as a trained chef, which has left me with a fairly methodical, tidy approach to keeping a home in good order. Cameron is 22, works as a writer, and is preparing to begin a PhD next year.

We lead a quiet life centred on our work, reading, and music, and spend a good deal of our time at home. That's a large part of why we're after a slightly larger flat — we need the space for a home office and a writing studio, and we particularly value a generous living room, as we have a fair bit of furniture and tend to do most of our reading and research at home.

We're reliable, non-smoking tenants with no pets. We're looking for a minimum one-year lease, though we would much prefer two years to see us through our current studies, and we're happy to take on Council Tax and the usual household obligations ourselves.

Our preferred areas are Marchmont, Bruntsfield, and the Meadows, though we'd also be glad to consider Tollcross, the Old Town, or anywhere central within a twenty-minute walk of George Square.
