Whole Flat Wanted ASAP near Meadows: 2-3 beds req.

My partner, Cameron, and I are looking for a two or three-bedroom furnished flat in Edinburgh, ideally starting in early September. I am twenty-four and currently a Master’s student at the University of Edinburgh. Before returning to my studies, I spent a significant period of my life working as a trained chef. While I have moved on from that career for the time being, that experience has left me with a very practical, tidy approach to maintaining a home, just as I would a professional kitchen.

Cameron is twenty-two and works as a writer, with plans to begin a PhD in the coming year. We are both quite settled and lead a quiet life centered around our work, literature, and music.

Because of our respective academic and writing commitments, we spend a lot of our time reading or researching, so we are looking for a peaceful environment. We are specifically seeking a larger flat because we need the extra space to set up a dedicated home office and a writing studio. In praticular, we really value the presence of a large, shared, living room, as we spend a great deal of time at home, and have quite a bit of furniture.

We are reliable, non-smoking tenants and we do not have any pets. We are looking for a lease of at least a minimum of one year, though we would prefer the option of a two-year stay to see us through our current studies.

We are primarily interested in Marchmont, Bruntsfield, and the Meadows, but we are open to Tollcross, the Old Town, or other central areas within a twenty-minute walk of George Square. We are happy to handle Council Tax and all household obligations ourselves.

We have references available and would be glad to meet for a viewing if you have a property that might suit us. That said, please note we are away from Edinburgh until 2nd May, so viewings before that date may have to be done remotely (i. e. by zoom).
