Looking for a room in flatshare – or buddy-ups!

My name’s Ben. 👋 I’m on the hunt for a room in London, or someone like-minded to buddy up with so we can look for a place together.

I work in TV (editor/documentary-maker, mostly for the BBC) and entertainment journalism. I’ve been living in Hackney the past couple of years, and before that in Camden Town. I'd love to move back to Camden (ngl, I miss it), but I’d open to other areas in Zone 1/2 for the right place and right housemate(s).

But I WFH a lot, so I’d like a room with space for a desk. An en suite would be amazing too, but it's definitely not a deal-breaker.

(What *is* a deal-breaker: messages that only tell me about the room and nothing about the people I’d be living with (I’m getting a lot of those since posting this ad!) – that’s a no from me. Unless you have a roof terrace and a jacuzzi. Then it’s probably still a no, but I will at least come for a look. 😅)

• Love travel, food, music, and making the most of London’s cultural life 🎶
• LGBTQ-friendly house is a must 🏳️‍🌈
• I spend several weeks a year in Berlin (I’ve got family there) and Italy (I’m half-Italian 🇮🇹)

Move-in date: I can move in straight away. But ideally, mid-January/February
Budget: around £1,000 pcm, but willing to stretch a little further for the perfect place.
