I am a single male parent of an equally disciplined teenager who lives with me 50/50. I am full time employed working in leisure in a secure job which I immensely enjoy. I also receive UC support towards our housing and while I’m not looking for a council-like setting or surrounding, just like the current flat I’ve been privately renting since August 2021, I am again working with the council towards a new private tenancy, which also has landlord incentives to offer.
Therefore looking for a 2 bedroom ground floor in a non-noisy surrounding, ideally secluded and/or in a quiet area/street, tidy and clean with independence being a bonus.
Regarding the living space, a functional kitchen as well as property insulation inline with adequate heating are important to us. An outside private space/garden and the potential of being allowed a small pet (cat and/or dog) in the future is also highly desirable.
Non-smoker, just a way of life and do my best to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am very tidy, extremely hygienic, respectful and a reliable personality to associate with.
In all honesty, I sincerely think it is important to meet someone before outruling their status as I believe that not everyone receiving part funding/support is a problematic tenant. However, business of course requires more than one side to come to terms and on that basis a previous/current landlord and/or work character reference as well as an enhanced DBS check could be arranged if required.
