Description
Hi! I’m looking for a room in London from 1st September, as I’ll be starting a new job around then.
I previously lived in Camberwell for two years, before heading off to New Zealand for eight months. I’ve been down on the south coast for the last few months and I’m now looking forward to moving back to London.
I’m very clean and tidy, and I don’t have a huge amount of stuff, so I’m pretty easy to live with. I’m a big believer in leaving things as I found them and doing my bit to keep shared spaces clean and pleasant.
I’ve been renting and living with other people for around 12 years, so I’m very used to sharing a home with different personalities. I’m sociable, friendly and always happy to have a chat or do something together, but I also have quite a busy life and am comfortable doing my own thing. I’m probably somewhere in the middle when it comes to housemate life — I like having a social home, but I’m equally respectful of people’s space and time.
I’m a middle leader in a secondary school, teaching History and Politics. Outside of work I’m pretty active — I’m into running, swimming, cycling and fitness classes — but I also enjoy reading, exploring London, travelling and generally trying new things.
I’m ultimately looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep, and I’d love to find housemates who are friendly, respectful and up for getting along with each other.
If you think I could be a good fit, feel free to get in touch. I’m very happy to have a video call and get to know each other!
