Flat/buddy up wanted

Hey! I’m moving to Sheffield in Feb 2026 to start a postdoc at the University of Sheffield and I’m looking to either join a chilled flat or buddy up with people to find a place together. I should mention, I'm only looking for en-suites.

A bit about me- I’ve just moved over from the US, love cooking (and feeding people), and really enjoy a social home vibe. I’m the kind of person who’s happy cooking together, watching TV in the evenings, having random chats after work, or heading out to explore cafés, pubs, and the city on weekends.

I’m clean, respectful, and easy to live with. I work regular hours, like a relaxed home during the week, and I’m social without being wild. Basically: good energy, tolerant, no drama, and a home that actually feels like a home.

What I’m hoping for:
• Friendly, social flatmates
• A place where people hang out sometimes (not just pass in the hallway)
• Clean shared spaces and mutual respect
• Open to professionals / postgrads / postdocs

Location & budget:
Pretty flexible, open to areas close to the uni or with good transport links. Budget is flexible for the right people/place.
