To Glasgow We Go!

Hello Hello! ☀️

My name is Alex, I'm 31 and I hale from sunny Suffolk!

I am currently searching for a new home in Glasgow. A big leap and a new start as I follow in the footsteps of my best friend, looking to build community, experience city living (without letting go of the ALL greenery) and searching for that ever elusive work-life balance!

I am a freelance actor and movement director, working predominantly in theatre (most famous for my flat whites at your local café!) I am looking to make a career change, and am resourceful, hard-working and dedicated - so whilst the creative career may be a red flag, be assured I have never missed a months rent or skipped on bills.

I am friendly, sociable and can be house proud - a ringing doorbell will send me into a flurry of cleaning and if there is something I can make cosy, my goodness will I! Like most people, I like a balance of together and alone time; I really appreciate those quiet moments of working/chores completing/doing-our-thing alongside each other in silent companionship.

My music taste is awful but I can make up for it with sweet goods (bought or baked, I generally have something sugary on my person.) You would mostly find me pottering about to an audiobook or pop-culture youtube essay. I love to read, go to the cinema, eat good food and journal a little. My favourite past time is a cup of tea and some trashy tv.

I am also dreadfully easy to convince into a takeaway or a cheeky dinner out!

I am really excited for my move and to explore all there is in Glasgow. It would be wonderful to make new friends with the people I live with. I hope I can be a happy addition to any house with a love for bundled up grocery trips and slow mornings.
