Hello there,

INTRO. My name is Kelsey, and I am a professional lassie in my early thirties, here house-hunting again after my current home has been sold (I blame Brexit). I work in stand up comedy and television development, with a smattering of screenwriting on the side. I work three days in the office and the other two freelance - either in my room (hardly ever video calls or anything like that) but usually out and about in town. I tend to head off to Bristol every weekend or two to visit my lovely partner too.

PERSONALITY PITCH. I am super chatty and sociable, love a laugh and am a film and theatre junkie. I love living in international houses with lots of languages and cuisines whizzing round. I am a vegan/veggie (super bad at resisting cheese), and LOVE to cook. I am liberal and open-minded, and passionate about the entertainment and performing arts. I genuinely love living with people, and all the microinteractions that make a house a home - making coffee at the same time in the morning, sharing a meal, etc. I am however, very self sufficient, and often a busy bee with my own schedule and plans.

I am a well-seasoned flatmate, having lived in houseshares since I was 20, from anything from a two person to a 16 person house. In terms of living habits and preferences, am open to living with pretty much anyone and everyone. I am not freakishly neat, but definitely not slobbish (and am that person who genuinely gets quite excited by a spring clean). I am a considerate flatmate - no loud music at late hours, etc. but also very relaxed about other people being night owls.
