Easy going 26 year old looking for a studio/1 bed

Hey I’m Joshua — a friendly, respectful and easygoing person currently looking for a stable long-term home in London.

I come from a Caribbean/Irish background🇬🇩🇮🇪 and have worked professionally as a baker/chef de partie/supervisor in London for over 8 years, which is something I’m really passionate about. I love cooking, keeping a clean and welcoming home environment and generally getting along well with the people around me. Despite some current health challenges, I remain very sociable, positive and focused on rebuilding stability and returning back into employment as soon as my treatment and recovery allow.

At present I’m receiving Universal Credit with LCWRA whilst awaiting specialist treatment and surgery for ongoing health conditions. This means my income is stable and I am exempt from the benefit cap. My long-term goal is absolutely to return back into full-time work once my health improves, ideally continuing my career within hospitality and professional kitchens.

I’m very clean, organised and respectful as a person. I’m not someone who causes problems, parties heavily or creates disturbances — I genuinely value a peaceful, comfortable and respectful home environment where everyone can feel relaxed and safe.

I’m ideally looking for:

- a self-contained studio / one bedroom apartment/flat or suitable house share
- clean and well-maintained accommodation;
- respectful and friendly housemates/landlords;
- private bathroom facilities where possible;
- and ideally some form of outdoor access such as a balcony or garden

I’m honest, reliable and communicate openly throughout the renting process. Greenwich Council Housing Services are also currently supporting me in securing suitable long-term accommodation, including assistance with upfront tenancy costs/rent deposits where required👍
