Description
Hello,
I'm looking for a buddy-up for a 2-bedroom apartment in Islington (ideally in Barnsbury area between Caledonian Road Station and Highbury & Islington), but I'm open to other areas with a good commute to Chancery Lane/Farringdon/Temple.
A bit about me: I’m a scientist and I love my job! In my free time I enjoy yoga, pilates, healthy cooking, walks in nature (especially Hampstead Heath! 🌳😊🌲) cinema and theatre, and some crafts such as sewing. I really value living in a home that feels like a sanctuary: a well-kept, cosy and quiet place to retreat to after a busy day in London. I need plenty of space to work from home as I work compressed hours (free Fridays! 😊) and I'm away abroad about 3 months a year.
I've been on the fence about flat sharing vs finding a 1-bed for myself, but I’ve noticed that the 2-bed options on the market are a lot better at the moment. Ideally, I'd like to buddy up with someone who is also keen to find a nice apartment with more space, perhaps 2 bathrooms and a split-level layout, so we both have plenty of private space - basically, to find a flat together that we may not be able to afford solo otherwise 😊
A quiet street is a non-negotiable for me, and ideally I’d like to find a place with double-glazed windows to stay warm in the winter. I need to find a new place by mid-August ideally.
I have a very strong allium intolerance, so I can’t eat onions, garlic, chives or leeks. If you're someone who cooks, especially fries, onion and garlic then sadly we wouldn’t be compatible :(
