Description
Hey, I'm Shae and I'm looking for the right place and housemates :)
I'm after an easy going, friendly and social house share with people who are after friendship and building a home.
I am a sociable, respectful & relaxed housemate.
I'm up for a drink and meals together but also respect each other's space and have my own life and things going on!
In my spare time I like to explore London and get out into nature. I love a festival plus see djs regularly (acid techno⛓️🔥), managed to score Glasto and boomtown tickets last year! Definitely young at heart. Love trying new restaurants and bars around London, have a massive spreadsheet of ones I want to go to. Into boardgames and am trying to get back into my fitness completing a workout challenge. I also come with lots of plants 🪴🌿. I work for a marketing company in West London as a procurement manager and will travel to Europe occasionally for work.
Liberal minded. Queer friendly.
I've lived in house shares for years and am pretty chilled and easy going to live with. I am clean and definitely prefer common areas that way (the state of some London shares ☠️🤣), happy to do a rota to maintain the common spaces if needed - no issues contributing to the household if it's equal weight.
I'm a long time vegetarian but have no issues sharing a kitchen with whatever dietaries.
I would prefer bills being included with the rent but open to additional, budget is flexible but ideally what I'd like to pay. I wfh 2 days a week so need enough space to accommodate. I'd prefer a place that's walking distance to tube/overground with my commute to work.
Furnished or unfurnished isn't an issue. Having a living area is a non-negotiable for me, also access to some sort of outdoor space like a balcony or garden is preferable. I'm moving out of a basement flat and cannot do that again, I need sunlight!
Please get in touch if I sound like a fit and you have a room. My move in date is flexible as I'm after the right place and housemates not looking or rush into it. I'm also happy to buddy up as an option.
I currently have a wide net of areas, as I'm really looking for the "right place and people" but my preference would be for East London.
Not really interested in live in landlord or landlords who place tenants without them involved as I want a home not a hostel and want to be able to add my own touch if I can.
