Violinist seeks peaceful artistic home

Hello!

My name's May and I'm seeking a new home in London because my current house is to be sold at the end of our tenancy in May.

An important thing to know about me: I’m a violinist, and it's important for me to be able to practise at home. It might be great to live with other musicians who understand this! I don’t play past 9pm and I try to be considerate generally. I'm happy to work out hours that work for everyone. Feel free to ask me questions about this. If you’re interested in what kind of music I do: it’s mainly early music with a few collaborative creative projects :) My practice time does include a few warm-ups and technical exercises, just so you know what you're in for. I try to make every note sound beautiful, but I'm not sure that entirely covers up the unmistakeable sound of a scale.

I try to have a 'live and let live' attitude to others and what they need. Probably good in life generally! I'm friendly and easy to get along with. I'm sensitive about when people want to socialise and when we want to be in our own worlds.

Having said that, I like to keep a space tidy and clean, so I'd be looking for people who feel the same. I would also like to be in a smoke-free home.

I have enjoyed working in the garden in my current house and it would be lovely to live in a place with a garden (or at least a balcony or outside area where I can keep my plants in pots!) but this isn't essential.

Alongside music, I also work for 3 days a week for a wonderful charity - one of these days is in the office and the other 2 are WFH.

In my spare time I like reading, going to the gym, and being outdoors. A safe place to keep my bike would be a big plus!

My tenancy ends on the 15th May but I am prepared to overlap for up to 2 weeks. Around the 8th May would be perfect so that I have time to move and get sorted.
