Looking for Double room in Waltham Forest

Hi there! My name is Matt, I'm 31 and I am looking for a new house share to move into from September 2026.

I have been living in my current house share in Leytonstone for nearly 5 years and have mostly enjoyed my time here. However, all of the tenants who lived here when I first moved in have now moved out and the dynamic has changed. I am looking for clean, tidy, quiet and mature housemates to live with, ideally in a 3 or 4 bed house share in the Waltham Forest area.

My occupation is a self employed private music tutor and I also play gigs on the weekend. I mostly visit student's houses, but also teach a few online. The instruments that I teach and play are bass, piano and acoustic guitar. I always practice bass and piano with headphones so you will never hear me play unless I am teaching an online lesson. I am also very contientous when coming home from gigs on the weekend and aim to be as quiet as possible.

I like having social housemates, but also respect their privacy and enjoy my own space after a busy day. I am very much house trained, have alway lived with professionals of mixed genders with very little issues.

My other interests include fitness, reading, sightseeing, going to the cinema and concerts and meeting up with friends.. Apart from performing on the weekends, I like to be in bed before midnight so my partying days are well past me.
