Short-Let Seeker (Feb-May/June) - The George

Hello!

I’m George (or Yiorgos) - 40, originally from Athens, Greece but basically a Londoner at this point (UK citizen, lived here half my life).

I’m a scientist currently on a sabbatical between roles, taking an online programming course and wrapping up some science papers before relocating abroad.

What I’m looking for:
A short let from February to May/June (flexible), anywhere in London except West London, up to £1,000 with bills included.

About me:
Very clean, very organised, and very respectful of privacy. Environmentally sensitive and values social justice and equality. Excellent with house rules; I follow them without needing reminders. Friendly, easy-going, socially tuned, and a bit of a nerd (also very friendly with plants and animals). Handy with small DIY, lights, plumbing, and “why is this not working?” tasks. Love music gigs, reading, yoga, gym, learning, and being quietly productive. Community-minded: I value a home where people coexist comfortably and look out for each other.

My living style:
During work hours I’m mostly out of the house, so you essentially get someone who drifts in, says hello, makes coffee, and disappears again. After 8pm, I’m happy to be social but never demanding, intrusive, or loud. I bring a respectful, easy-going energy and contribute to a positive atmosphere without ever overwhelming it.

Why I’m moving:
I’ve just decluttered my whole home (sold all furniture) in prep for an international move to the US. My aim is to finish my programming course, wrap up the manuscripts, wait for my O1 visa to be approved, and leave your household with a stellar impression on Greek culture and cuisine.
