Friendly housemate seeks room

Hey, my name is Scott and I'm a professional who works full-time. I work on trains and I am based at London Paddington station. Therefore, I am looking for accommodation within a 1hr commute (door to door).

I have varied interests including current affairs, cinema and reading. I also enjoy some sports, especially football. I like animals so am happy to live with dogs or cats. I am easy going, respect others privacy & need for space but enjoy a good chat. I’d like to think of myself as very friendly & tactful, so not one for passive aggressive interactions or dramas (although I’m partial to a good TV one!) I don’t smoke or vape, but don’t mind if others do but only in their bedroom or outside (vaping anywhere is OK.)

Caveat: My hours involve occasionally coming home very late (latest finish is midnight + commute home) but I am a very considerate person and would keep noise to a bare minimum.

Availability: very flexible on move in dates. Happy to wait or move in quickly for the right place.

I am a ethically minded person & seek similar landlord. No deposits that aren’t legally registered (this is n/a if I were to be a lodger!). No illegal admin fees. I am unwilling to pay cash in hand.
