I’m seeking a peaceful, long-term room to rent so I can reduce overheads and focus fully on growing my business. Ideally, I’d love to find a calm, respectful household — with mature, like-minded people who value peace, kindness, and good energy.
I’ve been a reliable tenant since 2007 — that’s nearly 18 years in the same area. I rented from my previous landlord for 13 years and have been with my current one for the last 5. I'm tidy, independent, and enjoy my own space, but also happy to have a chat in the kitchen!

A space where I can unwind and recharge
Somewhere I can keep to myself and not disturb others

Vegan (30+ years), don’t drink, don’t smoke, no pets
Run a music education business for kids, based at Fairkytes Arts Centre, Hornchurch
Work outside the home — just want peace and quiet when I come in
DBS checked (on the Update Service) and work closely with children
Currently recovering from an ankle injury, looking to move in 2–3 months
💡 Open to Creative Arrangements:
If you're a small family or live-in landlord, I'm open to a mutually beneficial exchange — babysitting, school pick-ups, music lessons, light home help, or even occasional admin in exchange for a fair rent reduction. Nothing formal — just something honest and workable for both sides.
🛖Also Open to Alternative Living Setups:
If you have a converted garage, garden room, shed, or unused outhouse, I’d be open to exploring that too — or even placing a small, self-contained tiny home in a garden space if it suited everyone.

In the past, I’ve supported landlords by being an on-site point of contact in shared houses — helping keep the space clean and calm, flagging issues early (like noise or smoking), and helping maintain house standards. It could suit landlords who don’t live on-site or anyone looking for a stable, respectful long-termer.
