Description
Hi, I’m Jen! I’m looking for a chilled, friendly houseshare with fellow professionals aged ~25-40. Seeking a new home with tidy and considerate flatmates who’d also be open to spending a bit time together on occasion. Max. budget £1000 without bills, but £1200 with bills included.
ABOUT ME:
I’m a 32-year old communications professional working at an NGO in the sustainability space. I'm moving back to London after 10yrs away! Previously lived in Mile End, Bow, just off Hackney Road, and Wapping.
I love going out to the theatre, see live music, going to food festivals, trying new restaurants and cafes, browsing book shops, etc. That being said, I’m just as happy at home re-watching Pride & Prejudice or reading the latest Emily Henry novel. I’d say I’m “indoorsy” — my favourite things to do to relax are to read fantasy / sci fi, write, watch tv and YouTube videos, etc.
What I would really love is to find a new home rather than just a room to sleep in — it would be great to find some friendly flatmates to try a pub quiz, make plans at the weekend, watch TV series together, etc.
Important point: I work from home. My company has an office in Cambridge Heath that I will be visiting on occasion, but ~95% of the time I will be WFH. For that reason, I will be looking for flatmates that are okay with that. Happy to discuss extra £ towards electricity if you’d like.
Other details: I’m a non-smoker. Fairly neat and tidy. I am not a vegan or a vegetarian.
ROOM REQUIREMENTS:
- Full time, 7 day/week let
- Not hugely fussed about location. Slight preference for East / North East London, but it’s not a dealbreaker
- Happy to take furnished or unfurnished
- Not a teeny tiny box room — I need space for a desk as I WFH
- Some sort of shared space (like a living room)
HOUSEMATE PREFERENCES:
- Professionals, preferably over 25
- Clean, tidy and considerate
- Friendly, respectful communication
- Non smokers
- Bonus points if you are LGBTQ+ or an ally
- Even more bonus points if you have a cat
BUDGET:
My budget would be max. £1000 (this is for rent only, I expect bills to be additional to that).
Available to move in from late June.
