Looking for a short term room in East London

Hey there,

I'm Jee (they), a 35 year old from New York. I recently finished my PhD in sociology at Cambridge, and now work as a researcher, community educator and graphic designer. Outside of work, I’m into ceramics, meditation, and cooking. I’m also big on enjoying London’s creative scenes, and spend some part of every week at galleries, exhibitions, and live performances.

I’ve spent the last decade living between the UK, Lebanon, Jordan and Germany, and am currently looking for a short term sublet in East London. As a housemate, I aim to be quiet, tidy, and considerate of others space and privacy, though am also happy to share a meal or glass of wine from time to time. My schedule is pretty packed, so home for me is about having a place to rest and recharge. I also have an office in Bethnal Green, so do not often work from home.

The reason I’m looking for a short term let is because I’m waiting to hear about a work opportunity abroad. A 2-3 month arrangement to start would be great, though may be able to extend up to 6, depending on what happens.
