Room Wanted For A Student

I am 19 years old student, moving to Shrewsbury from Belgium. I will be going to University Centre Shrewsbury, so it would be really awesome if my futur home will be located not too far from the uni. I don't really mind the kind of person I will be living with, but knowing that I am coming there to study, I would rather stay with a small family with or without children. This will allow me to stay focus on my studies and get used to the locals at the same time. The only thing I wouldn't like is pets in the house. I am afraid of dogs, so I rather prefer no pets in the house.
I like going out, discover new areas, this is one of the reasons why I am moving this far from my family and my home. I like making new friends, I am a bit shy, but I am not difficult getting used with the environement.
