Description
I work in Castle Donington, but have been living outside the Midlands for the last year and a bit, living with family and working remotely.
I'm now seeing what's out there for moving back near the office... I'm ideally looking for somewhere nice and quiet during the week, and with a bit of extra space, as I've just found out that I'll be working from home 3 days each week.
Timeframes for moving are fairly flexible as I'd rather find somewhere I'm really happy with than rush :)
Location wise I'm also staying open minded as a slightly longer commute is less of an issue if it's only a couple of days a week!
I'm in my early 30's and am very much past my wild party days... but obviously enjoy a bar/pub for a quiet drink or two & going out for meals etc. I spend a lot of my down-time working out, hiking, & cooking.
Sociable, but also capable of enjoying my own company. Carnivore, but happy to share with Vegetarians/Vegans as long as they're happy with my diet. Inclusive of all faiths/religions/heritage. LGBTQIA+ friendly.
I'd consider buddying up with someone (or 2 people) like-minded to share a larger house!
I work in the clothing sector & my work gear tends to take up space (plus I'd love the luxury of shutting the door on my office at the end of the day) so I'm thinking a potential situation of splitting a 3 bed where I also rent the box room as office space, or if the other person also needs to have WFH space then splitting a 4 bed could be an option? Much more cost effective and sociable & far more likely to end up getting a garden too 😊
If there's anyone out there who'd be into this & thinks the occasional night in for film/takeaway/wine night sounds good, then contact me!
Property-wise:
Must have - Off street parking! This is a big deal... nothing worse than searching for a parking spot 3 streets away at the end of a long day!
Overhead shower facilities is an absolute must! Ensuite would be ideal, however sharing a bathroom with 1 or 2 tidy people would be completely fine.
Furnishings - flexible on this as everyone accumulates things as they go & has a different preference!
From a council tax perspective, I'd rather be sharing with another professional.
