Hi, I’m Paul 👋 I’m 32, gay, and starting full-time Business Management studies at the University of Sheffield this September. Until now, I spent 16 years working in hospitality and consulting, which means I’ve lived and breathed people, food, and laughter for most of my career. I’m very sociable, always up for a chat, a laugh, and ideally the occasional shared dinner or drink. I love cooking, so if you enjoy communal meals now and again, we’ll get along great.

Outside of work, I coached the Sheffield Vulcans, an inclusive rugby team. I played rugby for 19 years before a back injury, so coaching has been my way of staying connected to the sport I love. I’ve also just joined The Gym Group and am trying to make the most of the Peaks, so if you’re into a good walk or Sunday hike, even better.

I have a touch of OCD, so I keep things really tidy and organised. I’m also big on board games, especially chess and Risk, and I’m well up for game nights.

For the house itself, I come with a 15-in-1 Ninja, a Sage Barista Express coffee machine, a 75 inch TV perfect for movie nights, plus a couple of Sonos speakers and some Blink cameras for a bit of extra peace of mind.
