Description
✨Hi lovelies✨, my name is Augusta (Gus).
A 28-year-old international consultant from 🇬🇧 and dual Master’s postgraduate looking for a new home — ideally a two-bedroom house share in Manchester/the surrounds — as I build a new life up North.
I’ve spent the last 10 years living in apartments around the world for client work and have a pretty stellar Airbnb profile with great host reviews. If you’d like to have a read through, I’d be very happy to share!
House specs: Ideally a two-bed, fully serviced apartment with good amenities (e. g. a well-equipped gym, co-working space, and concierge).
An ensuite would be ideal, and my budget is flexible for the right place. I’d also be open to the possibility of getting a cleaner together.
Since this’ll be my first time making the move up north, I’m hopeful that starting in a house share,
About me:
I’m currently pivoting from consulting into senior commercial practice, so I’d love to live with other ambitious, kind-hearted professionals who are also entering a more serious stage of life.
I work in an intense global facing industry (which I love) but can also be incredibly taxing, so love to keep a politics-free home and removed from contentious debates. If politics is a big part of your day-to-day social life, we might not be the best fit.
Having had a fairly transient lifestyle throughout my 20s, I love getting to know new people and I’m hoping I will have more opportunities to continue this.
Hobbies:
I’m really keen to get back into training and running. Travelling a lot for work and intense client projects can sometimes make this impossible to prioritise. When settled, I’m generally quite active. I’d love to find a good hot pilates studio, take occasional weekend trips to see friends overseas, and attend interesting talks and networking events both locally and abroad.
I’d love to get into horse riding and tennis. I’m also really into language. I currently speak 3.5 and use them often for work. I am trying to build my proficiency in a 4th.
I’m an ambivert. I love quiet evenings at home with a good book, a documentary, or improving my slightly shoddy cooking skills, I balance this with a pretty full-on, people-centred job… so I'd love our home to reflect this. Ideally I’d love to build a calm, friendly place with my housemate while also respecting that we each have our own lives.
Get in touch: Im in LATAM until March 25th, so I can only do virtual calls or viewings. I’m hoping to secure somewhere by the end of March.
