Friendly female flatmate looking for low-cost home

I am a mature, kind, caring female, currently teaching in a school in Woodside Park. I am in school 5 days a week 8.30am-4.30pm, but am available for evenings and weekend duties. I have 3 children ranging from 19-29 years of age and enjoy spending time with them when the opportunity arises.

I enjoy handicrafts, reading, watching films, a good crime series, musicals and going to the theatre. I can be quite chatty, but respect other's privacy, personal space and possessions.

I am working away from home (Cardiff). Due to current circumstances I am ideally looking for a room for little or no rent, where I can exchange tutoring, childcare, pa duties, offer companionship or housekeeping services instead of a cash payment.

I am up to date with my Covid Vaccinations. I have been driving for 40 years and have a car.

I am a qualified teacher, and have had a varied teaching career, having taught in mainstream schools, but often supporting struggling learners and organising action plans for more able students. I have taught in England, Wales, Germany and Abu Dhabi. I was fortunate to have travelled extensively in Europe as a child.

For about 2 years I also spent weekends and holidays working in a residential care home for adults with Autism, or mental health issues where I have cooked, cleaned, shopped and given companionship and personal care to residents. Sometimes I took residents out for a drive or for a home visit. I have personal experience of supporting adults with dementia.

I have been a landlord, renting out 2 properties in Cardiff where I have carried out DIY jobs, building flatpack furniture and painting etc.

I would like to find accommodation in an environment where I do not feel isolated, however I understand and respect the need for privacy and confidentiality.
