64 year old male seeks a room

Hello,

I am looking for a room in a quiet house, with no smokers and no parties. I am also looking for a calm environment at night, so I would prefer a room that does not have another bedroom directly above it, to avoid noise such as footsteps or people jumping out of bed during the night.

I need a safe and secure place to store my electric bike. I use my bike twice a day, so it is important that access is easy and on ground level, with no stairs involved.

I am nearly retired, have lived in Southend for 6 years and in the UK for almost 15 years. I am looking to rent for at least one year and would like a proper tenancy agreement. I can provide a reference from my last landlady.

I have been self-employed for the past 8 years. I would prefer a location close to the town centre, or no more than 3 miles from it.
