Prof F, 60, now freelance, seeks room for 6-12 mon

I am a professional female aged 60, looking for a double room in a shared house with others who are creative, interesting, and KIND! I've great people skills (former Housing Officer and a year as a midwife!) but am an Introvert, so like my own "nook", too. I'm hoping to avoid TOO much of the 9-5 as I'm focusing on my writing etc, now I am 60 (i can't quite see myself as 60, tho i like its gravitas) - depending upon where I decide to spend the coming 12 months, I may take bank and locum housing roles part-time but STRONGLY prefer taking room to establish new direction for my writing ambitions/urges! Whilst this is different from "WFH", I am aware some don't realise - yes i DO scribble at my desk at home - but research means i'm often out all day, too. I'm a good housemate, i'm told years ago - i'm not invasive, i'm mindful, I am GREAT with inter-house squabbles (frontline worker in Complex Needs housing makes being house mediator often a role i end up in!) - but i do know the subtle art of MMOB as well. Being "older" can make me a rather smashing housemate for 25s - 45s, seriously!! Plus, i'm a great cook with "feeder" gene, knit, sew, crochet, craft - it's surprising how much others like a handywoman around, knitting away in the kitchen watching an immense lasagne (secret recipe), or randomly producing seasonal treats cos she's also a hedgewitch... I hope to move from mid-September if possible,
with a maximum rent available of £720 inc bills - i can anyone if they're the right people - I prefer min age of 35 and max of 70, ideally, and slight preference for a women's houseshare. I'm clean and tidy, but I'm also ARTISTIC!! And I WRITE STUFF! So I'm not a cushion plumper, and prefer a sort-of "country living" attitude in the house (muddy boots no - shoes okay - creative untidiness accepted, the "neat pile" system is a good thing! - dishes need washing up pretty pronto but don't freak out if there's stuff on the draining board for a bit... "clean" is og Higher Status than "tidy", in my own Order of Virtues! But I would never deliberately upset a housemate over pettiness unless it was something outrageous...I raised three children alone, so I can pick my battles! I do enjoy excellent conversation, and i'm a bit of a research-junkie, so this CAN be a friend-maker... it helps others out with issues/problems, my incessant thirst for peer-reviewed papers and journals, but I do also love the odd bit of utter *c**p* on the telly, and playing ABBA in the car, like anyone else. My pagan practice can be as open, or as "occult" as required in the house, except my own room, and I'm always happy to talk about it, or explain - can lead to 8 more days per year of celebration, living with a neopagan-y type - as well as them knowing a herbal emergency remedy for almost anything.
