Visiting Academic needs room for 1 month

I am a professional working at the University of Durham for one month. I am looking for a room to rent with kitchen access and close to the University of Durham ( by bus or walking). I will need a place to stay for one month March 1- March 31. I am looking for a quiet house that would also have some space to work (desk) although I will have an office at the university which is where I will be during the week. I am sociable but do not party or stay out very late, and usually get up early. I will not have a car so a place near public transportation would be ideal and the ability to walk to stores would be an asset.
