Description
I'm potentially coming to live in Belfast for 6 months while volunteering with RSPB, and am keen to live somewhere close to Belfast Lough for that reason. I am a patient, kind and friendly person, who is tidy and respectful. I prefer living situations that are in some ways communal - i. e sharing cooking, cleaning and house tasks, eating together, spending some time with other housemates if they want that too.
I play music, mostly folk with cello and banjo, and would prefer to live with other musicians but that's not necessary! I don't have any pets but would love to live in a home where there are animals. I am passionate about animals, nature, ecology, and am a vegan. It's not necessary that I live with other vegans but I would ask for respect and curiosity rather than animosity or dismissiveness.
I don't like living in loud, chaotic environments, and I am most of the time an early riser and somewhat early sleeper. However if there's good communication about parties/friends over late at night then I don't mind that occasionally. I also would like to live in a place where I can have my friends over.
I value honest and open communication, rather than holding in resentments until they build up! I think I'm pretty easygoing and considerate of others, and I would expect the same from a housemate.
I would prefer to live with people who consider themselves 'left wing' in their perspectives on social, environmental and political issues, especially if they are LGBTQ.
