Looking for long term rental

Hi

I am looking for a long term let anytime from now onwards - ideally the first week of may but happy paying from now & also happy to wait to find the right spot if needs be.

I am originally South African but have lived here for 15 years and work in Virginia water. I am starting a new nanny position in North London so I am wanting to move closer to where I will be working from the start of May (N5 - Highbury, London.)

Ideally it would be quite a large room as I have a lot of things that I’ve accumulated over the years and I would prefer to share with professionals. Have a garden or balcony ideally and nice facilities. I am happy to not have an en suite bedroom if it means I can have a bigger bedroom as that’s more important to me and to be as close to work (within a few miles) as possible.

People describe me as chatty, easy going, fun loving, loyal, trustworthy, organised and responsible to name a few attributes but can also keep to myself and just get on with things. I love cooking, gardening, dinners with friends and family, socialising, movies, theatre, a good book, long walks and nature.

A double room is ideal, preferably with/with space for plenty of storage.

In the week I wont be around much in the day and in and out on weekends and some evenings but I.’m keen on finding somewhere where the housemates feel like friends rather than people I just live with. I am 34 and will be working in the day Monday to Friday regular office hours. I am a teacher / child psych but working as a nanny.

My maximum budget a month is probably £1000 or around there or less. .
I’m happy providing a reference or two to get the process going - although I would prefer to view the place before signing everything. I am a non smoker and don’t really drink but I love a good mock tail and catch ups with friends. Excited to find somewhere to call home.
