Friendly Belgian looking for caring host family

I am a sociable English/Dutch-speaking Belgian and have been blind since birth.

I love Britain and am looking for a friendly host family to experience what living in England is like while establishing new connections. I would like to start with a trial period of one month and if we are both happy with how things are going, I would love to try and find work and stay for an indefinite period of time if successful. I have already lived with host families in Kent, Bath and Ireland for language, cookery and culture courses and lived in Manchester for three months in 2020.

I am looking for a caring family to whom I could pay a little extra to provide practical support where needed (breakfast, lunch, dinner and laundry, no personal care needed), and who could help me go out and about until I have found personal assistants. (So all of this is not included in the £650). In return, I would be more than happy to help in any way I can in the household (doing the dishes, helping to prepare food etc). My goal is to become as independent as possible, but I do need reliable and warm people who I can turn to for help. It would also be really helpful if my hosts allowed me to invite my PAs, people from the local council or disability organisations in the house who could help me improve my independent living skills.

I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have about me or my disability at any point and am able to provide excellent references from all my previous host families. I will be in England for viewings in February.
