Quiet weekday professional — 10m walk from bank st

Looking for a double room within a 10-minute walk of Morgan Stanley at 20 Bank Street, from around 20 September (flexible by a week either way). That means Canary Wharf estate, Wood Wharf, Heron Quays, South Quay, Marsh Wall, north Millharbour, Westferry or Blackwall Basin — anything I can walk to in ten minutes. Sorry, no further out: the walk is the whole point.

Budget up to £1,500 pcm, ideally bills included. Minimum 6 months, and happy to run to a year if it suits us both.

About me: Belgian, British citizen, banker at Morgan Stanley. I'd be in the flat Monday to Thursday and only rarely at a weekend — I commute back to Florence, where my wife and our new baby are based this year. My hours are long, so in practice I'm there to sleep and shower. You'd have the place to yourself most weekends.

Friendly, clean and tidy, non-smoker, no pets. I let a room in my own London flat, so I know what makes an easy housemate. References, proof of employment and deposit all no problem.
