Looking for a room in Edinburgh

Hello,

I am relocating to Edinburgh from Brighton for a new job, so I am looking for a short term let: a furnished room in Leith close to work from the 14th of September.

The idea is to have a temporary home- base while looking for a more permanent accomodation.

So I am mostly after a quiet and peaceful room in a friendly house/flat, where I could occasionally work from home (likely one day a week, or perhaps a block of three days to help me to manage a chronic condition when needed).

I really appreciate clear communication and need my home to be clean (I can deal with some mess); for instance: no shoes in the flat or the house and I am happy to follow a house/flat chores/cleaning rota.

About me, I am open-minded, friendly, and easy going. I enjoy cooking (will clean and tidy after myself) and will happily share a meal or cup of tea with a good chat. I am respectful, considerate and understand the need of privacy.

Realistically, I will be a quiet flat/house mate focusing on starting a new job in a lovely new city, so very much exhausted by all this novelty.

Budget: £950 a month including bills

If you think we could be a good fit for a long term rental, my future room would need to be unfurnished (I love my current bed).
