I've been living in east London for six years now and I'm ready for a change of scenery (and the rent is going up loads LOL)

I work at UCL, and I'm doing a masters there part time too (environment and politics 🌱), I'm able to pay rent upfront/provide a guarantor, if my student-ness is an issue. Since I'll be part time it won't affect council tax.

Anywhere close to a Victoria/Piccadilly/Northern line station is ideal. I'm looking for a double room which could fit a desk because I'll be WFH (max two days a week), and I have a sewing machine. A shared living room is non-negotiable for me (what's the point of living together and never hanging out!), some outdoor space would be nice but it isn't a dealbreaker.

I've been in the same flat with my friends for the last 4+ years, so I'd really value living with people I can make a home with. I'm looking to stay for at least a year if not longer, I've really valued the stability of having been in my current place for so long.

Between working and studying I'm pretty busy, but on the weekends I'm nearly always out with friends or family. In my free time I love reading, thrifting, arts and crafts (I have two sewing machines, i do my own nails, I used to run a crochet club), cinema, travelling, and honestly just yapping with my friends at a pub.

I'm cis + bi, and south Asian, my values are super important to me, so I'd like to live with people I align with (i. e. free palestine forever!) 🍉🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
