PhD student (Harry) & Cat (Silvio) seek room!

Hello!

I'm Harry, a 30-year old PhD researcher in the social sciences / humanities looking for a room. I'm currently in the process of returning from my fieldwork which was in Madrid working on migration. I'm looking for a place to call home to write up my thesis, and get me back to London to begin work as an Associate Lecturer and Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in Central London.

Currently funded by the national research council, hence I selected 'other' as I'm not really a student - as I have a job and income - but I also earn a stipend as opposed to salary.

I also have a small black cat called Silvio who has accompanied me on my journey to Spain. He's incredibly chill, affectionate and non-destructive. I'm confident you couldn't meet a nicer cat!

Originally, I'm from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, but I've been living in London for around 10 years prior to my last year in Madrid.

Aside from my work, my interests are very broad! I'm into photography, cycling, film and generally like fixing stuff and working with my hands. I have a motorcycle which keeps me pretty busy too.

Currently I have a rolling contract on my apartment in Madrid, and don't have a fixed date to rush back for.
