Looking for my new home

Hello there!

I am Khia (pronounced Kai-a). I moved to London last summer and adored it! I now have a new job and I’m looking to set up a home in this ace city for the next couple of years.

I’m quite a social person, I enjoy being out and about, going on adventures, and seeing shows, live music and exhibitions too. Have been loving the sunny days we’ve had recently, making me very excited to be outdoors more again. I like a good night in though, watching films, playing some game and always love a good natter and a gossip over a bottle of wine. Really value quite time as well and getting lost in reading/writing. It would be ace to live with people I can become friends with, have the fun social element of living again, that being said, I also like time to myself and respect other people's privacy.

I have really come to value the space I live in a lot more recently. For that reason, I like to keep things tidy and clean, making sure everyone feels comfortable in this space.

I am only looking for a place long term where I can create a home with people. I like the idea of finding buddy-ups to get a gang together, find an unfurnished place and make it our own. That said, if the perfect place comes along in a pre existing houseshare, I am totally game. I would want a double bed, but I’d be happy in the box room so long as we had a living room.

Oh, and I feel this should be a given, but queer friendly space. Well, everything friendly space actually. Anywho, moving on…

I work in the dead centre of town, so I’m happy to look at places anywhere within zones one and two. Ideally, would like to have a green space nearby, a bit of a community feel to the area and easy links to the centre. Aside from that, I’m happy wherever.

Available to move any time from now and have a budget of £850pcm, but I’d like to keep that down as much as I can. Don’t wanna burn too big a hole in my pocket.
