Double room ideally 30 min cycle from Holborn

Hi!

This is Horatio - 31, working in fintech.

Despite the field I work in, I'm not a corpo guy at all - which comes across straight away when you meet me. I've been in house shares all my adult life. For the past 4 years I've been between Newcastle and London and now, since early summer, I've been a permanent resident here.

In May, I returned from travelling in Latin America for 6 months. I'm keen to maintain my spanish and practice my french - if my future housemates speak either, I'd love it!

Job and hobbies keep me rather busy + having friends in various places and family too, it means I travel regularly. Work keeps me in the office about 2-3 days a week and I normally have an activity planned after, usually physical such as gym, swim, tennis, squash, table tennis, etc.

Usually, I'm also out at least 1-2 evenings a week, sometimes more. I'm Ethically Non-Monogamous and have a couple of partners within the community + enjoy events, socials and parties.

Even though I'm relatively new to living in London, I have good friends here and plenty to do - no need to look after me or invite me to stuff, even though I'd love for us to do things together now and then! I love the houseshare vibe and really, the more the merrier - I've always wanted to try a warehouse :D

I'm a very open person, well balanced, self-aware, very much into self-development, becoming a better person, doing therapy while enjoying the journey.

Home is the place to feel safe, recover, recharge, have easy, almost efortless interactions. Hence, getting along well is essential. I'd like to meet and chat, see who you are and get a sense of how things will be living together.

I'm in a very comfortable situation right now in West London, with people I love living with + the sweetest cat. However, I keep finding myself in East London so I'd like to be based around that area. I have a very short notice period, but I'd like to take my time and only agree to a new place if I truly believe it to be fitting.

I'm also open to buddying up - however, I can't promise to have too much time to organise multiple people, hence I'd prefer joining an existing houseshare - ideally advertised by housemates/the leaving housemate.
