Best Housemate Seeking Double Bedroom

I’m looking for a double bedroom (furnished or unfurnished) in a well-maintained house with an outdoor space in a good location with responsible, friendly people.

I’m South African, from Cape Town. I’m 41, but I also have a good group of friends much younger than me so I’m compatible with younger housemates too.

I work in business-to-business sales. Outside of work I enjoy longboard skateboarding as part of my daily routine and also enjoy snowboarding and surfing on holidays.

I’m always up for a barbecue or chat over a drink with my housemates and understand the balance of socialising vs chilling on one’s own in a house-share.

I have a very sweet, female cat (bonus for those who love pets, but don’t have one of their own) who makes the house feel even more like a home so living with housemates who naturally love animals is critical to me.

She’s a mature, housetrained cat. Her interests include eating, drinking, sleeping, snoozing, resting, dozing, peeing and pooping in her litter-box, and playing ninjas.

She’s friendly, but not attention-seeking so she’ll have the odd wander around the house throughout the day to say hello and make sure everything is in order, but spends most of her time snoozing on my bed or on her treehouse. She also enjoys a sniff around the garden a couple of times a day, but prefers being indoors.

My current tenancy agreement ends at the end of November, but I can move anytime between now and then so I’m looking to move as soon as possible.
