Creative professional looking for a room

Hello future housemates!

I’m Isabella, a filmmaker and freelance creative professional looking for a comfortable long-term home.

My work ranges from acting and film production to event assistance and business development. I occasionally work from home, although I usually take my laptop to the BFI café, where I’m a member.

My schedule can be varied: sometimes I’ll have shoots, networking events or last-minute travel, followed by a quieter week. I’m independent and adaptable, but I’d also love a home where housemates occasionally chat, share a meal or exchange stories and advice.

Recently, I’ve been learning more about finance, tax, social media and business management, so I’d especially enjoy living with curious, entrepreneurial or well-travelled people. In return, I’m always happy to share film recommendations, and occasionally invite housemates to screenings, festivals or networking events if that’s their thing!

What I’m looking for:

📅 Move-in: between 5 September and 1 October
🏠 A long-term home, ideally for at least one year
💵 Maximum budget: £800 bills inc.
📍 Preferred areas: Slough or somewhere with good transport links
🧹 A clean, well-maintained home, ideally with a regular cleaner included

Note: I’ll be away throughout August, so I’m available for in-person viewings until 1 August or again from 3 September. While I’m away, I can attend a video viewing and arrange for a trusted friend to view the property in person on my behalf before making any payment or commitment.
