Description
Hello, I will be moving to London in September and am hoping to meet one or two others to move in with. I'd love to live around Stoke Newington or other places in the Hackney/Dalston/Walthamstow area.
I will be starting training to become a Clinical Psychologist, meaning that I will have dual status as both an NHS employee and a doctoral student at UCL. My time will be split between placement and university study; this will usually be in person but I might occasionally work from home too. The role will be quite demanding and likely quite exhausting throughout the weekdays. I am looking for a peaceful, homely home and to connect with whoever I am living with.
About me... hmm... my friends have described me as 'calm and grounded'. There are two sides to this in that I am probably quite a relaxed person to live with, but I also bring more of an introverted energy home with me, and often need some quiet time to recharge after a day of work.
In my spare time I love getting out into nature and walking up hills! I am moving from Bath so very sad to be leaving behind the proximity to the Cotswolds but am hoping to find some nice spots to explore in and around London. I like going to community saunas, exercising, and hanging out with friends (I have a few already in London). I also enjoy music – I currently play in a band and like to go to the odd house/soul/dub gig. These days I can barely stay awake past midnight but I hear they have day parties in London! I also recently purchased a tennis racket.
If you think we might get along I would love to hear from you! We can arrange a time to video call to see if we are a good fit for living together. Thanks for reading!
