Clean quiet sorted mature guy

My name is Richard. I'm looking for a double room in the Brighton, Hove, Lewes area.

I'm 58, sociable and friendly. I have many years experience in creative arts, gardening and DIY. I'm quiet and independent, practical, down to earth and easy to get on with.

I have a hearing disability (hearing aids) so on disabled benefit. I hear fine with my hearing aids most of the time and am totally capable of looking after myself. I enjoy a busy and full life and looking to get back into voluntary work in the creative fields.

I'm good around the house and happy to do my share to keep the place clean and in good repair. Living with me you can expect me to be:

- Easy to get on with.
- Sociable but also enjoy my own space.
- Mature and sorted, no dramas.
- Dog/pet friendly.
- Clean, quiet and always prepared to help out around the home.
- Fit and healthy with things to do, definitely not a slacker.

The government pay my rent and then I pay you monthly, it's easy nowadays.

I have a 4ft double orthopaedic mattress and bed base (base optional) I'd like to bring with me. Prefer an unfurnished or semi-unfurnished room. Preferably a decent size and clear enough for my things.

About you:
My ideal housemate or landlady, landlord would be independent, someone who likes to have a chat but also has things to do, and clean and tidy.
