Room or flat wanted - St Albans

Hi there, my fiancee and I (29M/28F) are looking for a room in a shared house or a 1/2 bedroom house to rent in St Albans, within a short walking distance of the St Albans City train station. My fiancee works as a doctor north of Bedford and I start work in London in August, so St Albans is a perfect fit for us. We are a New Zealand couple; friendly and outgoing. We enjoy company and are clean and tidy. My university accomodation expires at the end of July, so we are looking to find a place to move in the weekend before. We are looking to stay for a year, but we are flexible on this front. We do not have furnishings, so a furnished flat is preferred but not essential, and my partner has to drive to work, so off-street or on-street parking is a necessity. Our ideal flatmates would be 25-35 professionals, but we are open to considering all.
