Quiet wfh professional for short-term private room

I’m a senior professional working in global health and based in the UK. I’m looking for a quiet, private place in Manchester for a month or two (flexible), as I’m house-hunting long-term and need a base to work from during the week. Hunting remotely online has proved virtually (no pun intended) impossible.

I’ve been living alone for the past three years and really value a space with good energy — calm, safe, and low-stress. I work from home full-time (usually on calls or deep work), and I’m very self-contained, tidy, and mindful of others. Night owl by nature, but always respectful and quiet.

I’m not looking to socialise much at home - just somewhere peaceful where I can decompress, work, and rest. I'm more likely to be found out in the countryside when I'm not working. Ideally a private room (but I’m realistic), and open to weekday or weekend-only lets too. Available to move ASAP. Budget is flexible for the right fit. I have storage units full of furniture and belongings so no I do not want to rent a furnished house for a minimum of 6 months.
