Description
Hi all!
I’m looking for a room in a flat, or 1-2 other people to buddy up with to find a place to call home.
About me: I’m 23 and I work full-time for a social research company. In my free time I read a lot, I swing dance (in normal times), and I like having dinner with friends. I’m left-wing and would like to live with flatmates who have similar values. I'm a lesbian and I have a trans partner called Remi- so I'm only interested in LGBT-friendly living situations :) I would spend some nights at theirs and vice versa, but they're lovely! As a flatmate I’d say I’m pretty friendly, tidy, and relaxed- happy to answer any questions if you have them 🙂
In terms of what I’m looking for, I’d like to live in my next place long term. I’d love to live in a relatively environmentally conscious flat and I’d also only like to live with non-students for council tax reasons. I would want to be friends with my flatmates and have some meals together, maybe chip in on a veg box etc.! Rent-wise I’d like as cheap as possible but can go up to £600/month including all council tax and bills. Area-wise I’m really flexible and will consider anywhere TBH. In terms of move-in date I’m also flexible- I’m leaving my current place at the end of the summer and planning to move in with family for a bit after that, so sometime September/October would be good.
I’m willing to compromise on basically all of this so please get in touch even if you have room/ideas for flat searching which don’t exactly fit what I’ve described!
Cheers,
Maggie
