Friendly, tidy creative looking for good people

I'm James, I’m 38 he/him and I'm moving to Bristol from London, where I lived in a gorgeous home and community. Queer-friendly, neurodivergent-friendly, genuinely communal (cooked together, fixed things together, kept a shared kitty for olive oil etc). I'm not looking to replicate it exactly, but I know what it feels like when a house has that quality, and it's what I'm after.

A bit about me: I spent ten years as a drama teacher abroad in various places, but now I’m very keen to settle in one place. I now work for an international development charity in fundraising (we work with communities in the lowest income countries) . I usually work remotely, usually from a hired desk at a co-working space, though sometimes from home when I need to conserve energy. The work takes me abroad occasionally, but only about a month in the year.
That's something worth knowing about me: I’m notoriously playful. I love to laugh with people. I'm a fairly sensitive person. I care about the people I live with and whats going on in their lives… I’m interested in living with friends, not acquaintances! I also manage my energy by being alone sometimes (reading, decompressing) so I won't be offended if you do the same.

What I love about communal living is the unplanned spontaneous chats, dinners, silliness of just being in a house with people you actually like. I'm interested in Bristol's theatre and arts scene, and would love housemates who have things going on in their lives so we can inspire each other.

I'm tidy, I pull my weight, and I don't disappear when the boiler breaks. Let me know if you’d like to meet and see if we get along, I’d like to see the house too, but us getting along is more important.
