NO SHARING: furnished double bedroom wanted

Hi ✨I’m Nur (they/them/theirs). I’m looking for a furnished double room to rent if I’m unable to fill a room in my current property.

Preferably sharing with females and in a LGBTQ household. As I am advertising myself as a queer person I have marked out my pictures, but have added a few so you know I am a real person 😅

I would like a place with white goods included, a shower and hopefully a bath 🙏🏾 A garden or balcony would be great but if not somewhere with parks nearby. Preferably in South (East) London. Budget £700 max all bills included. I do smoke, but do it outside.

I study and work part time (mix of in person and remote for both). I’m liberal, creative and social justice orientated, which is reflected in my choice of masters (heavily influenced by decolonial, critical race, black feminist and queer theory).

I like food, writing, art, taking pictures, and learning new things. I love mendhi and would love to combine it with my love of tattoos. I’m not a party person but I do love a singing session sometimes- I can’t sing so let’s just say I make joyful noises 😂 In my free time I’m usually watching netflix (k dramas/c dramas/thai dramas/bollywood).

My perfect evening ends with dinner, a cup of tea, candlelight and being curled up in front of a tv. I like listening to music in the shower but use headphones the rest of the time. My go to genres are hindi classics, bhangra, 90s/00s rnb and chinese instrumentals. I’m a very spiritual person, I have one day (Saturdays) I use for self care, to do nothing and enter into meditative silence.

I would like to live with people who enjoy a little natter, might join me in karaoke occasionally or have a cup of tea with me, but also value their alone time.

I have been at my current place for 5.5 years so my landlady would be more than happy to provide me with a glowing reference!
