Seeking a safe home for my canine companion & I

Urgently needing a place for me and my beautiful little furry friend to make our home.... looking for a quiet place, either a Small house or apartment or a studio or 1 bedroom place, ideally with a garden for little onyx to enjoy. Colchester and the surrounding areas are my main search areas however relocating is not a problem for me and I have friends and family in the south West so I'm happy to consider bath, Taunton, Plymouth and Cornwall as well as Colchester, Wivenhoe and surrounding areas where travel by train or bus is not a problem and local amenities are available to make travel to and from the town centre optional rather than essential. I am a happily single female, in my 40s, who enjoys listening to music, reading and a good horror movie. I absolutely loves animals, dogs and horses especially!
I currently receive benefits so accepting housing benefit is essential but i can afford up to £800pcm for the perfect place however it would be much better for living in a better financial position ideally I'm looking to spend around £625 which is the amount paid by housing benefit and any additional cost will be out of my budget each month so I can afford to stretch upto another £150 towards further rent however factoring in bills will be the key to making decisions about how much I can afford to stretch to above the 625 h/be so somewhere with bills included in monthly cost would be the decideing factor for a tenancy to be top whak.. Basically I can be flexible between £625-750 with or without bills included but to go top limit, if it's a house with a garden, with no one else sharing, I would stretch to 800/900 absolute max with bills included for the perfect place. Im desperate for a place to make a home where I can feel safe and secure and relaxed just me and my dog.... I'm looking for somewhere to potentially make a home for a long time if that's an option. I do smoke a few rollies a day however I don't like smoking indoors and only smoke outside so it's not an issue for non smoking terms on my end, I'm ready with rent and deposit there waiting so please, anyone who can offer me and onyx a safe place, please let me know ASAP, I will be more than happy to answer any questions about myself should you want to know anything please do ask.
