Description
Hello! I'm a global health professional working for a non-profit organisation, and I’m looking for a friendly place to live!
I’d ideally like somewhere not too far by bike from King’s Cross (where I work), but I’m not fussy. I do also work from home sometimes (usually Wednesdays and Fridays).
I'm half Argentinian, so of course I love football and sharing Argentine culture, such as making empanadas. Although, I’m also English so I love my tea! I do a lot of gardening at the moment, so it would be lovely if you had one of those. I also like running, hiking, camping and reading.
With my current housemates we do things together such as Christmas dinner, Bonfire night in our garden and even a Burns Night event. I like inviting other friends over for drinks/dinner/potlucks. Also very appreciative of a sofa where I can curl up with a book - I recently read Persepolis in one sitting and cried a lot! Ultimately, for me, joining a shared house is about making friends, whatever we are doing.
What can I bring as a housemate?
- I am clean and tidy (abiding by the cleaning rota is a big deal for me)
- I really value respect of other people’s possessions.
- I’m fun, love to share cultures, like to learn from my housemates about their lives and share good times so we can become friends.
- I’m keen on open communication- if there’s an issue, let’s talk about it with no hard feelings.
- I love to bake, so you will be the recipients of many goodies!
