I’m Maka (or Mak/Maks), 26, working in the music industry as a booker. I’m originally from London and travel occasionally for work, general discovery, but nothing too out of the ordinary. My schedule is usually Tuesday–Thursday in the office (9–6), with half-days from home on Mondays and Fridays. Sometimes I’m on call for weekend events, but home is definitely my space to relax and recharge, catch up.

A bit about me: I love movies, socialising, and occasionally hosting a dinner—you’d always be welcome to join. I can also sort discounts and drinks at the venue I work for, plus access to most events, clubs, and some festivals. I’m a fairly decent cook, tidy, and big on keeping a clean space—it just makes home feel better for everyone. I’m also pet-friendly (just no spiders).

I’m looking for a 1-bed flat or a double room in a fresh, welcoming houseshare. Ideally somewhere in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, or Southwark, but I’m open to SE London since I work in Peckham. I really value being near green spaces and cycle-friendly areas. A bright, natural space would be amazing, and if there’s a garden or terrace to enjoy a drink on after work, even better. A FLINTA household would be preferred.

If you enjoy minimal decorating, bonus. I'm happy to chip in and invest in our home to make it extra lovely and convenient for us all / both.

I’d say I’m easygoing and adaptable, and I like to fit into the vibe and interests of the people I live with. Excited to find a home that feels safe, social, and positive. My budget is up to £1000 pcm (excluding bills), and I’m available to move from now or by the end of the month.
