Scientist working at Heriot-Watt University looking for a double room

Hi! I'm Sebastián, a scientist currently working as a Senior Laboratory Technician in Paleoceanography at the Lyell Centre, Heriot-Watt University. I'm looking for a double room in Edinburgh, ideally in areas such as Haymarket, Fountainbridge, Bruntsfield, Morningside, Polwarth, or the West End, although I'm happy to consider other locations with good public transport links to the university.

My budget is up to £650 per month including bills, and I'm flexible with my move-in date.

I also have a small dog called Sabrina, a friendly white Maltese–Poodle mix. She's clean, quiet, non-shedding, fully house-trained, and very well behaved. She spends most of her time sleeping while I'm at work and has previously lived happily in shared accommodation.

A little about me: I'm tidy, organised, respectful, and easy to live with. I enjoy keeping shared spaces clean and appreciate a relaxed, friendly home where everyone is considerate of one another's space and routines. While I have a busy work schedule during the week, I also enjoy getting to know my flatmates and occasionally sharing a meal, watching a film, going for a walk, or having a chat over coffee.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, cooking vegan food, travelling, science communication, films, cafés, and exploring Scotland with Sabrina.
