NHS Professional Seeking Quiet, Tidy, LGBT+ Home

Hi there! I’m Brandon (he/him), a queer man in my early 40s and a full-time NHS professional. I’m looking for a calm, tidy, and respectful home for at least the next two years—ideally with LGBTQIA+ housemates or allies.

A Bit About Me:

° Work: Full-time NHS role (I don’t work from home).

° Lifestyle: Non-smoker, occasional social drinker, no drug use. Veggie-leaning omnivore and love cooking. Could go full veggie but I must have dairy!

° Interests: Music (record collector & home studio—always at a respectful volume), reading, tarot, anime, sumo, manga, plants, and sustainability.

° At Home: I meal prep weekly, keep shared spaces tidy, and pitch in with housework however works best for everyone.

° Personality: Introverted but warm—I love a good chat about ideas over coffee, a quiz or video game, but I also value personal space and a peaceful atmosphere.

What I’m Looking For:

• A quiet, peaceful environment where I can read, make music, and recharge.

• An unfurnished room (this is a must—I have my own furniture).

° A landlord who plays by the rules—I strongly believe in tenants’ rights and legal protections for everyone involved.

• Clean, tidy communal areas with some space for my books and plants; I'd like equal space amongst others' to make it feel like my home, too.

• Secure space for my bicycle.

• Good natural light in the room. South and/or West facing rooms very attractive.

I’m in a long-distance, monogamous relationship, and my partner visits for 10–14 days once or twice a year. It’s important that I live somewhere I can comfortably host him.

I’ve been in my current home for nearly 11 years; the landlord's selling up, so I’m looking for the right place, not just any place.
