Description
37-year-old, non-smoker, 6 foot tall, male, professional. Looking for a full 7 days per week rental of a large double room with a double bed or larger if possible. No single beds or tiny rooms, please. I like having a spacious room to make my own and feel at home. I'm moving here because I have started a new job back in early April working in Hailsham at a manufacturing firm. I'm looking to live somewhere within 25 minutes drive maximum of work as the main location.
I would describe myself as considerate, work-focused, amicable, positive thinking, responsible, and sociable, but happy to keep to myself as I enjoy my own company too. I like to draw and read every night, go to the gym most mornings, & enjoy the outdoors often. I prefer simple cooking routines rather than take over the kitchen but enjoy the social aspect of shared communal areas too.
Looking for new local accommodation to match the new work role. I'm after a no-smoking-indoors scenario and no cats/dogs/horses, please. I'm allergic to these most common pets so they are non negotiable but have no issues with reptiles/birds/others. I would also prefer no very-young children in the house full time but happy with regular visits of kids/teenagers etc. I'm flexible around this if the kids are chilled and friendly too. For example, I used to play Basketball with my previous landlords 12 year old regularly when he came round. I'm simply looking to avoid regular crying/screaming/shouting where possible for a reasonably peaceful environment.
I get up relatively early around 6 or 7am most mornings and tend to wind down by 10pm. An occasional quiet, early night will be desired. (Eg. 9pm sleep time). Thus equally respectful housemates would be ideal but I expect to be flexible for other people's needs too. Access to shared common areas is important too and enjoyable for the social aspect, as well as a regular communal area cleaner.
I would like somewhere with room for a desk to use a laptop and with strong wifi. I often study self education topics in short periods and enjoy the occasion film/series, but will be out of the house regularly too and making the most of the sunshine and scenery. I have friends in Eastbourne and Seaford so I'll be out visiting these often aswell.
I would love to hear from you and discuss your availability so please get in touch or ask any questions.
Thanks for reading. All the best.
